The initiative aimed to:

1. Facilities and infrastructure:
- A micro-malting facility was built, enabling the processing of Sicilian barley and reducing reliance on external suppliers.
- An 85.54 KWp photovoltaic plant was installed, improving energy efficiency and lowering operational costs.
- A storage facility for finished products, also serving as a tax warehouse, was completed and equipped with modern shelving to optimize logistics.
2. Agricultural supply chain development:
- Agreements were established with Sicilian farmers to secure high-quality barley, fostering the use of native and organic varieties.
- Complete control over the production chain was achieved, from raw materials to distribution, ensuring superior quality and reduced logistical costs.
- The production of 100% made-in-Sicily beer was consolidated, strengthening the connection to the region while reducing environmental impact.

Through these interventions, SEMEDORATO S.r.l. has solidified its position in the craft beer market, revitalizing Sicilian agriculture and demonstrating a successful synergy between industrial innovation and regional heritage.
